We Put God on Trial
In 2001, God was placed on trial (in absentia) for various crimes against humanity.
Stuff like:
- Murder on a mass scale.
- Genocide.
- Terrorism.
- Murder in the first degree.
- Conspiracy to commit murder.
- Rape.
- Conspiracy to commit rape.
The trial was held on Paltalk, successor of Firetalk.
BADLARRY was the Judge. He was an entertaining cat. I could listen to Larry all day long.
Other key players were…
The prosecution team:
- PerryMason_666
- Wednesday Addams (Perry’s Secretary)
- Hamilton_Burger
- walksthedesert
The defense team:
- Kochav
- NEVERAGAIN (AKA Stan, speaking for Kochav because Kochav had no mic)
- “Yaffa”
- FriendlyAtheist
- “Dorph”?
- Other various people who wandered in offering objections
Answers to any other questions you may have can likely be found in the content of the trial itself.

Enjoy! Then “read more” and vote. Just for fun!
If you’re not familiar with Paltalk or other voice chat programs, keep in mind that the quality of sound differs from person to person. Some folks have their mics turned up so loud that it’ll break your ears. Also some ppl have poor sound cards, poor mics or poor connections. Sometimes you will hear ppl breaking up or being knocked offline, etc.
I cleaned it up as best I could. You shouldn’t have any problems discerning what’s going on. Also, this was back in 2001. I didn’t have Total Recorder—the swiss army knife of recorders—and… Paltalk was just a wee thing.
(You might also listen to this even if you just want to get an idea of what Larry was like. His essence. I think you’d agree, he made life fun.)
So what do YOU think?
You should take this poll only after having heard the file.
Clearly there’s no way to verify that folks won’t click-through just to vote “not guilty”, without listening to the file. That leaves us with the honor system.
I have—though—set it up so that you can’t vote more than once.
What? You think we don’t know what IP keeps trying to flood the poll? (Yes we know about you.)
We just don’t care. (I just enjoy listening to his hilarious antics, and I miss that man’s voice.)
There’s actually a documentary based on a play, called “God on Trial”: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1173494/
But this came out in 2008, so we beat you by 7 years.
Still a good movie though.
